Bradeen Auctions was founded by Bert Bradeen in 1923, passed down to his son, Bob Bradeen and is today owned and operated by Bob’s son, Ron Bradeen. Bradeen Auctions utilizes the Absolute Auction method on the majority of our real estate auctions. Selling without minimum or reserve ensures that all potential buyers will have arrangements secured, be in attendance and be prepared to bid. The competition created by the Absolute Auction method will achieve the maximum price available in a favorable time frame and under YOUR terms, not merely the first “acceptable” offer.
Multi-parcel auctions on agricultural, development and recreational property allow any number of buyers wishing to purchase individual tracts to compete against those able to purchase the entire unit. Real Estate auctions are held in public halls/ballroom settings that allow us to provide video of the property that is selling, comfortable seating, phone and/or internet access and a professional atmosphere. Dear Ron and Jeff, we again want to thank you for holding the very successful auction on May 5, 2015.You have helped our family out again. You held the auction of the ranch near Ardmore, S.D many years ago, then you did a wonderful job for us at Alan’s auction in 2003 and then this auction of the ranch at Cascade which had been in the family for nearly 100 years. You made this transaction so easy for us. You negotiated the road easement so the new buyers would not have concerns about entry access. You made it sound easy but we know it took some great negotiation skill. All we had to do was come to the auction to watch the process — this is the way sell land, etc. The stress level is so much lower with you handling the showings of the property, handling the advertisement and the mailing of the brochures. We know we will definitely use you again when the time comes.

An older gentleman was in the trailer to pay his bill and as he was leaving, he turned and said the following:
You know, your auctions are about the only ones I ever go to anymore. It’s mostly because of those gentlemen out there (Ron and Jeff). They are good guys. They are very good and they are HONEST I believe. They treat everyone fairly.
A couple stopped in the trailer to pay and the lady went on and
on about what a nice auction we had and how helpful and nice everyone was. She mentioned that the auctioneers were both great…funny and kept a great attitude despite it being a very long day, etc. Said all the staff was pleasant and friendly and they really appreciated it and had a wonderful time.
